The infiniteScrollingEnabled property (boolean | "Auto") enables Scheduler infinite scrolling.

Declaration

DayPilot.Scheduler.infiniteScrollingEnabled

Default Value

false

Modes

  • false (default) disables infinite scrolling.

  • true uses manual sizing: days, infiniteScrollingStepDays and infiniteScrollingMargin.

  • "Auto" sizes the timeline buffer, shift distance and edge margin for the current viewport and time scale. Available since version 2026.4.7072.

Auto mode supports generated timelines in left-to-right Resources view with fixed cell widths. It rejects rtl: true, scale: "Manual", cellWidthSpec: "Auto" and viewType: "Days".

In Auto mode, do not use days, infiniteScrollingStepDays, or infiniteScrollingMargin to set or read the automatically chosen range. Use visibleStart() and visibleEnd() for the timeline range, and getViewPort() for the dates and resources currently visible. Auto mode adjusts to changes in the viewport size and time scale.

Use dynamic event loading to supply data for newly visible dates. Auto mode does not implement server requests or application navigation limits.
