The progressiveTimeHeaderRendering property (boolean) enables time headers to appear as the user scrolls. This improves loading performance for long timelines.

Declaration

DayPilot.Gantt.progressiveTimeHeaderRendering

Default Value

true

Notes

Enabled by default. With progressive rendering, onBeforeTimeHeaderRender runs as headers are needed for display or export. Do not use this callback to collect all timeline dates during initialization.

Set this property to false if your application requires the callback to run for every header during initialization.

Scrolling back to a previously displayed header does not call the handler again. A full update runs it again for the headers needed by the updated view.

Image export includes the requested date range, even if the user has not scrolled through it.

Available since version 2026.4.7080 of DayPilot Pro for JavaScript.
